Arcade asteroids game powered by real-time Wikipedia edits!
Controls:
Move with arrow keys or WAD. Spacebar to shoot. "P" to pause/unpause.
Gameplay:
A classic asteroids arcade game with a Wikipedia twist!
Each edit to an article on Wikipedia spawns an asteroid.
The larger the edit, the larger the asteroid (and the more shots it takes to destroy).
Blue asteroids indicate additions, red asteroids indicate subtractions.
When you destroy an asteroid, an article preview shows up in the sidebar with a link to the edit.
At the bottom of this page, you can toggle edits from various language Wikipedias.
Powerups:
A newly created article spawns an "extra life" powerup.
A newly registered user spawns any of the other powerups.
Grants an extra life.
Grants 7 seconds of invincibility.
Grants 7 seconds of faster bullet firing.
Blows up all asteroids on screen.
Slows all asteroids for 7 seconds.
Grants 7 seconds of triple shot firing.
